So this is Christmas.
I have to be honest with you, I am usually a
planner. I tend to plan things right down to the very last detail.
However, on this particular holiday I kind of just went with the flow.
And it turned out pretty darn good.
I spent the afternoon with my best friend.
The first thing we did was exchange gifts I have to say I don't like it
when somebody asks me, "what do you want for Christmas". Because a true
gift is given from the heart not necessarily the checkbook. At least in my humble opinion. So when he
asked me that I told him I just wanted to be happy.
So he got me a bunch of
different paints and paint brushes. He said he got because he saw
how important the painting was to me. And then he got me a stuffed lemur
which I absolutely loved because it was so cuddly. I adore stuffed animals. One of my funny quirks. So he does really
know me and he got me exactly what I wanted. Because he made me happy.
Then we went to a movie instead of out to lunch. It was a good
movie. But if anybody had told me I was going to have popcorn and candy
for my Christmas meal I wouldn't have believed them. But, that just goes
to show that I am flexible on some things. I had a great day I had a
great Christmas.
I hope everybody else had a great Christmas as well.
On a
side note, we are planning to go to dinner tomorrow evening because
here's a little something I should tell you. I was okay with going out
to a Chinese restaurant. But we walked into the place he chose and there
were dead ducks hanging down by the place you put in your order. If anybody knows me they will know if I see a
dead animal I am not eating there. I may eat them but I don't want to
see their carcasses. I am just funny that way. So, we decided tomorrow
we are going to have our Christmas dinner together. So maybe I will
report back more on that as far as food goes. But still all in all it
was a great Christmas Day. Until next time.
Eat well.
