Short and sweet

I was out having breakfast. As I do often. And I couldn't help but notice (since it is the holiday season),  that there were a lot of people out with their friends and family and loved ones. There was exchanging of gifts and catching up on lives. People showing their friends their pictures of new babies and vacation trips.  And even though I am alone most of the time by choice. I found I was a little envious of the interactions between all the people.  And they did all of this over their food. I guess it goes back to that tradition of friends family and food all getting along sharing meals and having a good time together.
I will hopefully be spending Christmas with a good friend of mine. I have not made plans to cook however. He said we could go out. I am imagining a dinner similar to the one at the end of "A Christmas Story".  I will make a full report I can assure you. I am going to keep it short this time. And wish all a Merry Christmas.
